Le Pen's National Front

The deputy chairman of French far-right leader Marine Le Pen's National Front (FN) said the party was "disappointed" by its result in Sunday's first-round parliamentary vote.

"We've maybe been disappointed by the score and we have paid the price, I think, for a low turnout," said Florian Philippot after projections showed the FN scored between 13.1 and 14 percent of the vote, putting the party on course to win between one and 10 seats in the National Assembly.
