A number of people, including a female police officer, have been wounded after shots were fired at a railway station in Munich.
Munich police said the shooting happened during a police check at the Unterfohring underground station.
The incident is not believed to be terror-related and the suspect has been detained.
Police spokesman Michael Riehlein said the area had been secured and there was no danger to the public.
In a tweet, police said the female police officer's injuries were serious.
