Paul Nuttall resigned with immediate effect Friday as leader of the anti-EU UK Independence Party following a general election in which the party lost support and failed to win a single MP.
UKIP spearheaded the push for Brexit and Nuttall insisted that the party would still remain influential as Britain heads into divorce talks with the European Union.
