For American winter sports fans who have yet to ski the French Alps, Vail Resorts and Les 3 Vallées are providing a little extra incentive to make the transatlantic journey this season. This winter, vacationers who purchase a season pass from Vail Resorts will also receive a five-day pass for the 3 Vallées, the world\'s largest ski area, located in the French Alps. With 600km of slopes, the area includes eight ski resorts: Courchevel, La Tania, Méribel, Brides-les-Bains, Les Menuires, Saint-Martin de Belleville, Orelle and Val Thorens. The partnership works both ways, so holders of the 3 Vallées season pass will also be able to enjoy five days on the slopes owned by Val Resorts, including those of Vail, the largest ski resort in the US. Also included is access to the ski slopes of Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, and Keystone in Colorado, the Canyons in Utah, and Heavenly Valley, near Lake Tahoe in California. Source: Relaxnews
