The Rotana media group have unveiled Saoud al-Dosary as the latest addition to their broadcasting team, during a press conference in Riyadh. Network director Turky al-Shabana hailed al-Dosary as a “successful and hugely popular broadcaster.” While the exact details of al-Dosary’s new programme are not yet clear, Rotana Khalijia have floated the possibility of running a flagship show with al-Shabana. Social media, now hugely popular in Saudi Arabia and across the Arab world, would play a major role in the new programme, Dosary hinted.
