Circles contribute to enhancing constructive communication among Arab youth

Shamma bint Sohail Faris AlMazrui, Minister of State for Youth Affairs has said that youth circles contribute to enhancing constructive communication among Arab youth on topics of interest, foremost of which is entrepreneurship.
Shamma Almazrui's remarks came during the Youth Circle's first workshop in Kuwait entitled, "Youth Entrepreneurship: Challenges of the Tech Sector", in cooperation with Kuwait's Youth Empowerment Organisation, Tamkeen, and the Arab Youth Centre. This session focused on the importance of innovation when creating start-ups, and the challenges faced by entrepreneurs while also considering fast-paced technological developments, and their impact on start-up development.
The Minister highlighted that the youth seminars organised by the Arab Youth Centre in various Arab countries come following the announcement of H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, in February 2017, concerning enhancing the role of Arab youth in creating a better future for generations to come.
Youth Circles exist as forums to enable young people to express their opinions on societal issues and policy matters and to catalyse community impact and youth leadership. Each Youth Circle seeks to answer one central question through action-oriented discussion and youth-inspired recommendations.
