The price of Kuwaiti oil went up 45 cents Monday to reach USD 41.91 per barrel as oppose to USD 41.46 pb last Friday, said a statement by Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) Tuesday. 
At the world market yesterday, oil prices settled down 2% on Monday after rising stockpiles of crude and refined fuel intensified fears another major glut was building up, according to (KUNA) news agency. 
The price for the American crude went down 80 cents to settle at USD 45.15 pb, and the Brent mix also went down 89 cents to settle at USD 46.72 pb.
