Tourism and antiquities police discovered on Sunday three ancient potteries in various shapes and sizes in an old warehouse in Aswan city.

The unearthed artefacts were found before being offered for sale to antiquities dealers.

Illegal excavation pits were also found at the warehouse in "El Sheikh Salah" district.

The Public Prosecution was notified to launch an investigation.
