Electricity and Water Affairs Minister Dr. Abdulhussain Mirza received Standard Chartered Bank Chief Executive Officer Dr. Boutros Kallank, and praised the bank’s achievements in providing advanced banking and financial services.
The minister lauded the close cooperation between the bank and the electricity, water and renewable energy sectors. He also reviewed the possibility of the bank providing facilities for those who wish to benefit from solar energy. 
The bank officials thanked him for the ministry's support of the banking sector.
