There is only one more full day until one of our favourite artists of all time, the Bronx diva herself, Jennifer Lopez will be pulling out all the stops for one of her legendary shows right here in the UAE. The Vegas favourite whose performances sell-out auditoria on The Strip every night for a year comes to Dubai's Autism Rocks Arena on Friday night to perform hits from her over 80 million albums sold. We're going to be front and centre for this one! But what will JLo be up to during her time in Dubai when she's not raising the roof with songs such as Love Don't Cost A Thing and Jenny From The Block? What else do we need to know about the 48-year-old movie star? Let's have a look shall we?

If she's got a bit of downtime, we have a few suggestions to as to where she may enjoy whiling away the hours. 
1) JLo once told Instyle.com she loves books about relationships. Well, we can only suggest the biggest bookshop in town, Kinokuniya, to find her perfect title. Get ready, Dubai Mall!
2) According to celebrityinside.com her favourite food is fried chicken. That one's easy, kill two birds (sorry) with one stone and head up to At.mosphere at the Burj Khalifa for some signature fried chicken and the best views in town. 
3) During her teens the local Bronx gym she attended gave her the nickname, La Guitarra due to her body shape. JLo loves to stay fit and that's what we do best here in Dubai, especially this month with the Dubai Fitness Challenge. On the 17th and 18th Festival City will be gearing up for the #Dubai30x30 closing ceremony and the development's Al Areesh fitness club will be open for even more muscle-building activities.  
4) In 1989 JLo was a backing dancer for Can't Touch This maestro MC Hammer. She could relive the glory days at either Lock Stock and Barrel clubs on Friday night with this tune and many other cheese-tastic beauties. 
5) A bit of a busman's holiday, but if a sell-out show isn't enough, why not a bit of karaoke at Lucky Voice?

For those wanting to get up-close-and-personal to JLo herself, the official pre-party will be held at Dubai's hottest new venue, Base Club in Dubai's D3 District on Thursday November 16. More than a traditional nightlife venue, guests will have the opportunity to dance away with the star under the sparkle of the night sky of the huge open-air pavilion.
