The Saudi Health Ministry said Friday two persons died of the Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS-Cov), known as corona virus.

According to the ministry, the number of people who died of the virus in Saudi Arabia rose to 579 deaths.

the number of infections also raised to 1,353 people after two new cases were reported. 

The ministry said that 763 cases have been discharged from hospitals, while 15 persons are still receiving treatment.
