Egyptian actress Yasmine Sabry expressed her pleasure for participating with Egyptian superstar Ahmed Al Sakka in his new TV drama show “Black Horse” presented during the current drama season of Ramadan. She said, “I am happy for participating with the Egyptian superstar Ahmed Al Sakka who is keen to consider his role well to meet the aspirations of his fans.”
She added, in an interview with “Arabs Today”, that she is proud for working with Al Sakka, saying that it was one of her ambitions to participate with the Egyptian superstar. She expressed her hope that the new drama show will meet the expectations of the fans during the current season.
She refused to give any details about the role she performs in the new series, saying that she performs the leading female character before the Egyptian superstar. She added that the role will be surprise for her fans. She stressed that she performs a different role if compared to the role she performed in “The Legend” TV drama show presented last year. She added that she performs a role of an ambitious and successful girl.
She revealed that A number of Arab superstars participate in the series, including Shery Adel, Ahmed Al Sakka, Mohamed Adel and Mohamed Farrag. The series has been written by Mohammed Suleiman Abdul Malik and directed by Ahmed Khaled Mousa. She denied, in a statement to “Arabs Today”, any similarity between her personality and the character which she performs during the series. She added that the role is difficult and different.
She added that she chooses the works in which she participates upon two major standards, including the scenario and role. She added that she does not care whether she takes the leading character or not, saying what attracts her to any work is the value of the role.
She revealed that she apologized for not participating in a number of works during the coming Ramadan, saying that she preferred to participate in only one work. She described her role in the series as difficult and needs more concentration.
She expressed her pride for participating in the TV drama show “My Way” with Egyptian singer Sherine Abdel Wahab in 2015, saying that it was of the most beautiful works in which she participated since the beginning of her career. She stressed her love to Alexandria, saying that she loves swimming and diving.
