Clashes in the northern city of Tripoli led to the injury of two Lebanese soldiers, said the official National News Agency (NNA) on Wednesday.
The heavy fighting in the northern port city has prompted the Lebanese Army to deploy troops at the hot spots, in a bid to halt the ongoing clashes between supporters and opponents of the Syrian regime.
On Tuesday, seven people were killed and 85 others were wounded due to the escalating violence resulting from sectarian strife, fueled by the occurrences in neighboring Syria.
