Sanaa – Ali Rabea
Two Yemeni soldiers were killed and three others wounded on Saturday night, after they fell foul to a trap set by unknown militants, Yemeni security sources said.
Arab Today understands the militants targeted a military vehicle on a road leading to the eastern Marib province.
Sources said an investigation is underway to track down the perpetrators.
Marib province has previously witnessed militant attacks of the energy lines, with security experts claiming the region to be a hotbed for armed, al-Qaeda-affiliated militants.
