Menya Criminal Court under Councilor Redha Al-Qadi decided to remand in custody 26 Muslim Bortherhood defendants for 45 days over charges of attacking police stations, stealing arms and inciting violence.
A Misdemeanor Court under Counselor Fathi Mohah has previously decided to release the defendants on a bail of 15,000. However, Menya prosecution appealed the decision and set a session on Sunday to consider the appeal before Menya Criminal Court which upheld the custody of the defendants.
