Five Takfiris were killed and ten suspects were arrested during a security campaign in Sinai, security sources said.
The campaign targeted Sheikh Zuwaid and Rafah, the sources added.
Also, 11 terrorist hotbeds used by militants to attack security forces were destroyed.
