Iraqi security forces captured on Saturday seven Daesh militants south of Tikrit City, a security source said.
Joint army and police forces clashed with militants in Tikrit, arrested seven of them and burned three vehicles, the source added.
Earlier in the day, 15 Daesh militants were killed in Tikrit.
