Nine civilian Iraqis were killed and 38 others injured in a dual car bombing east of Baghdad on Tuesday, a security source said.
Two booby-trapped cars, parking near Al-Hai Market in Al-Sadr City, were detonated shortly before the Iftar (breakfast) killing nine civilians and seriously wounding 38 others, the source told KUNA.
He said the wounded were rushed to nearby hospitals, and the explosions caused damage to adjacent buildings and shops.
