Al Qaeda's wing in Yemen on Thursday claimed responsibility for a bomb attack that killed a tribal sheikh in downtown Al Bayda Governorate.
According to a statement by the terrorist group on Twitter, a militant fixed an explosive device to the car of Mustafa El Ramah and blew it up later leaving the sheikh and another man killed.
The group said the assassination of the tribal leader is made in retaliation for the killing of protestors by Houthis.
