Unknown gunmen assassinated on Wednesday a former Yemeni policeman who worked in the Yemeni Political Security Organization (PSO) in Al Bayda' governorate, according to a security source.
The militants, who are believed to be members of Al Qaeda organization, opened fire at the police officer and ran away, the source added.
