Daesh militants

The families of US military members from around the country are taking precautions to protect themselves from a Daesh attack after the terror group released their home addresses this weekend, The New York Post newspaper reported.
The revelation of the information for 100 terrified military families — including one from upstate New York — has prompted warnings from top brass for them to be wary.
“Vigilance and force-protection considerations remain a priority for commanders and their personnel,” Marine Corps Lt. Col. John Caldwell said in a statement Sunday.
The threat came after a group calling itself the “Daesh Hacking Division” claimed to have accessed records for US military personnel.
he hit list includes members of the four major military branches and lists full names, ranks and addresses.
None of the military personnel are from New York City, but one is a Navy lieutenant originally from upstate Columbia County.
