Military forces fired on Sunday on suspect targets in Mount Chaambi, governorate of Kasserine. Tunisian news agency (TAP) quoted Defence Ministry spokesman Taoufik Rahmouni as saying "the army used heavy artillery to bomb suspect targets it spotted as part of surveillance and supervision operations carried out in the besieged mount." He said these targets are often people on the move, which confirms the presence of terrorists hiding in the mountain. "The control of Mount Chaambi has borne fruit", he added, saying that "terrorists have not received any reinforcements from outside the mountain, which means that they are besieged." The number of terrorists taking refuge in the mountain is believed to be between 25 and 30, he added. Source: BNA
