Units of the Syrian army and the armed forces on Tuesday continued to launch wide-scale military operations against the Takfiri militant organizations across the country, destroying their dens and gatherings and killing scores of their members, SANA News Agency reported.
Units of the army and the armed forces on destroyed a number of dens and vehicles of Jabhat al Nusra and other Takfiri terrorist organizations in the countryside of northern Idleb province.
A military source told SANA that a number of the Takfiri militant organizations’ members were killed and others were injured during a special operation carried out by an army unit against their gatherings in al Habit town, 77 km to the southwest of Idleb.
The source added that units of the army directed intensive blows against the dens and positions of the militant organizations, killing a large number of them and destroying their arms and ammunition in the villages of Tal al Roumman, Bkafloun and Martin to the southwest of Idleb city.
In Kafr Lata in the area of al Arab’ain mountain, which is being besieged by the Takfiri militant organizations, an army unit carried out a special operation, destroying dens and vehicles of militants and killing all terrorists onboard, according to the source.
Units of the army and the armed forces targeted gatherings of the Takfiri militant organizations in the northern countryside of Lattakia coastal province,
inflicting heavy losses upon them.
A military source told SANA on Tuesday that units of the army and the armed forces killed scores of Jabhat al Nusra militants in al-Zaitouna, Rwaisa and Rwaiset al Ballata in the northern countryside of the province, destroying a number of their machine gun equipped vehicles.
The source added that units of the army destroyed a number of militants’ dens, leaving all militants inside them dead in the villages of Arafit, al Rashwan and Kitf al Ghanama in the northeastern countryside of the province. Earlier Sunday, the army foiled infiltration attempts by terrorists into Nabe’e al Mur, killing many of them.
