Northern Governorate Police Director-General said that former MP Ali Ahmed Al-Derazi's two cars were set on fire that was extended to reach some parts of his house in Al-Deraz village.
He added the Civil Defence force put out the fire, while evidence suggests the fire was arson, stressing all legal procedures were taken.
He noted that Public Prosecution was notified of the incident and investigation has been initiated to bring perpetrators of the crime to justice.
