Unknown attackers have thrown a homemade explosive at Dar al-Fatwa – Lebanon’s highest-ranking Sunni institution -- in the country’s capital, Beirut. The attack comes as sectarian disputes rage between Mufti Mohamed Kabbani and members of the High Islamic Council, one day after attacks on four Sunni sheikhs in downtown Beirut. Lebanese public prosecutor Hatem Mady has meanwhile ordered the arrest of seven suspects believed to have been involved in Monday’s assaults.
