A car bomb exploded in the wee hours of Thursday morning near the fence of Egyptian Embassy in Tripoli.
No casualties were reported.
The explosion has caused material damage to buildings near the embassy.
Fire trucks and civil defense teams rushed to the area and managed to contain the fire while security forces cordoned off the area.
