Two Iraqis were killed and more than 10 other injured in a car bomb blast in a local market in Salahuddin province.
Some persons were seriously injured, a medical source said.
Meanwhile, a US-led airstrike was launched today against Daesh strongholds in northwestern Iraq, resulting in serious damage to Daesh militants, Kurdish sources said.
The sources added that preliminary information indicates that dozens of Daesh militants were killed and injured.
