International coalition jets raided a Daesh site near the Baiji refinery in Salahuddin province, northern Iraq, Friday.

The Iraqi Defense Ministry did not comment on the strikes.

An Iraqi security source had earlier said that Iraqi military troops, backed by Popular Mobilization Units, were able to expel Daesh militants from the Baiji area and regained full control over it.
