Daesh group shot down a war jet for the coalition forces in northern Iraq, Iraqi local sources said on Monday.
In statements to Sky News, the Iraqi sources said Daesh militants gunned down a plane while it was carrying out a raid over neighborhoods of Salahuddine governorate in northern Iraq.
The type of the plane has not determined yet, the sources added.
Neither the Iraqi army nor the US Central Command commented on the news.
