The Egyptian Council for Foreign Affairs (ECFA) welcomed the visit paid by Foreign Minister Nabil Fahmy to Moscow. In a statement Monday, ECFA said that Fahmy\'s visit to Moscow opens new horizons for bilateral ties between Egypt and Russia and will contribute to increasing trade exchange and Russian investments in Egypt. The ECFA also pointed to the Russian initiative, which prevented a US-planned military action in the crisis-hit Syria. Source: MENA
