Egypt\'s government has decided to take the necessary measures to confront \"threats\" resulting from the sit-in organised by the Muslim Brotherhood in Rabaa al-Adaweya and Nahda Square.
Egypt\'s cabinet said in a statement that the government authorised the interior minister to take the required actions to confront any danger.
During a press conference, Egypt\'s Minister of Information, Doria Sharaf el-Din, said that the government is \"against\" the situation resulting from the sit-in at the squares, which they deem as \"serious\" and that the decision comes in the framework of \"protecting citizens.\"
