Egypt\'s Court of Cassation on Tuesday upheld a previous ruling ordering the return of former Attorney-General Abdel Maguid Mahmoud to his post. However, the court simultaneously rejected challenges filed by Talaat Abdallah, the current attorney-general to keep his position. Abdallah was appointed by Egypt\'s under fire President Mohammed Morsi under the controversial Constitutional Declaration in November 2012. Judicial sources told Arab Today that the court\'s decision cannot be appealed, adding that Mahmoud would return to his position because the Cairo Court of Appeal had annulled Morsi\'s decree in March.
