Military sources have denied transferring Egypt’s former Defence Ministry, Marshal Mohamed Hussein Tantawy, to the Maadi military hospital on the outskirts of Cairo. Tantawy had reportedly been sent to hospital for medical examinations. Sources told Arabstoday the former military official is in fact in good health. An Egyptian newspaper reported earlier on Tuesday that Tantawy was at Maadi.
