Egypt's Ministry of Interior has announced the apprehension of 73 Muslim Brotherhood "rioters" during the dispersal of pro-ousted president Mohammad Morsi protests across the nation Friday.
In a press statement Friday, the Ministry accused the protesters of blocking roads, attacking policemen and clashing with residents of the areas where their illegal protests were organized.
It added that security forces broke up pro-Morsi protests in Cairo, Giza, Alexandria, Beheira, Fayyoum, Ismalia, Port Said, Menya, Menoufiya, Marsa Matrouh and North Sinai governorates and arrested 73 rioters.
