Cairo – Ali Ragab
Egypt\'s Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, Ahmed el-Tayeb, has warned Egyptians against political violence and assault of opponents, stressing that \"the Egyptian blood is too precious to be shed for political steps.\"
He added: \"Whoever stains his hands with the blood of his brother, has nothing else except eternal hell. God has said whoever intentionally kills a believer will face God\'s anger.\"
The Grand Sheikh said that all those \"tempted to participate in bloodshed\" anywhere should remember the words of the Prophet, \"If two Muslims fight with their swords, then the killer and the killed are both in hell.\"
