The Fatah movement in the Gaza Strip condemned the detention of MP Yahya Shamiya by security bodies of Hamas.
In a press release on Saturday, Fatah movement in the Gaza Strip voiced rejection of the detention and pursue policy adopted by Hamas movement against Palestinian resistance men.
The detention of the MP who has a parliamentary immunity is a blatant violation and derails the Palestinian reconciliation efforts, it added.
