Baghdad – Najla Al Taey
The Iraqi Parliamentary Committee for Security and Defense said the country will continue fighting its war against terrorism, which began with the fall of the regime belonging to former president Saddam Hussein in 2003.
Hassan Jihad, a representative of the government’s Kurdish Coalition told Arab Today that the government is repeatedly criticised for its inability to stop the growing number of sectarian attacks which rage in the country.
He added that all political parties needed to abandon their difference and unify, in order to restor peace in the country.
