Israeli occupation authorities announced on Friday that they will close the West Bank and clamp siege around it for four days during the Jewish holidays this month, saying the closure will border crossings and reduction of working hours at Al Karama crossing.
A source at the Civil Liaison said the closure of the crossings between the West Bank and the 1948 territories will be on 14,15 , 20 and 21 of this month under the pretext of Jewish holidays. The source pointed out that the closure will include the prevention of Palestinians from entering territories of 48 through all the crossings with the West Bank during those days, while entry of Palestinians from the 1948 territories into the West Bank will be from 7:00 am to 12:00.(noon) Meanwhile, a number of Palestinian youths were injured during clashes which erupted with Israeli forces that suppressed the activities against settlements in different areas in the occupied West Bank .
Eyewitnesses reported that the Israeli forces arrested two young men in Kafr Qadoum, east of Qalqilya during a march to protest the settlement policy. In Qaryout, south of Nablus, 25 young men were wounded, mostly by rubber-coated bullet, after they insisted to perform Friday noon prayer at territories confiscated by Israeli authorities near the settlements of " Shiloh " and " Eilih."
