A 22-year-old Palestinian man has been shot dead by Israeli forces at a refugee camp in the occupied West Bank, Palestinian medical officials have said.
Majed Lahlouh was killed during a raid on the Jenin refugee camp in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
Two others, named as Kareem Sabeeh and Alaa Abu Khalifa, were injured in the incident.
Israeli soldiers raided the house of Palestinian Islamic Jihad official Bassam al-Saady at 0300 hrs. During the operation, several young men pelted them with rocks and stones. The soldiers subsequently opened fire with live and rubber bullets.
Lahlouh was taken to Jenin governmental hospital were he was pronounced dead.
The injured men, believed to be in their twenties, are recovering from bladder and chest injuries.
Eyewitnesses said the Israeli troops had been travelling around Jenin on Monday night, before entering the camp.
They arrested four people during a raid on a gas station on Haifa street.
