The Lebanese army entered Arsal city on Thursday and was welcomed by the residents.

An official at the Independent Current in Arsal Bakr Hujeiri told MENA that the residents of the city welcomed the army.

The citizens cooperate with the army to enforce security in the city, he noted.

The army erected checkpoints and its troops are deployed in all regions including the camps of the Syrian refugees.
