Lebanese soldiers killed three militants and wounded four in an preventive operation in Ras Baalbek village near the Syrian border, the army said in a statement Tuesday.
Following information on militant group movement in the area, troops raided the area around Al Makheirma hills early morning.
The army said the raid was part of preventive military operation to weed out militant groups and prevent them from infiltrating into Lebanon to attack army outposts and civilians.
