Lebanese army in Ras Baalbek highlands

The Lebanese army on Friday targeted terrorist moves in Ras Baalbak highlands by heavy cannons, NNA reported.

Hezbollah's Manar channel said their militants and the Syrian army completely controlled Ras al-Maara barrens, al-Barooh mountain range and al-Fatlah crossing and advanced towards Flita outskirts amid collapse of the militants' defenses.

Al Fatlah crossing links the Syrian Ras Maara to the Lebanese Nahle town.

The channel added that the militants suffered heavy losses during the clashes.

Hezbollah also regained al-Etein Mountain in Ras al-Maara barren and a number of heights in the vicinity of Moussa hilltop, killing scores of terrorists, Al Manar reported.

The Syrian army also continued on Friday its operations across the country, inflicting heavy losses upon the militant groups, the channel added.
