Lebanese Foreign Minister Adnan Mansour hailed the Egyptian stance on the current crisis in Syria, asserting that Egypt has begun to restore its historic role and national spirit in the region. Speaking to reporters, Mansour said that Egypt is the leading country for the region that cannot be replaced by another, referring to differences between Egyptian and Saudi views over the situation in Syria. He warned that a military strike against Syria has dangerous consequences on the region, especially on Lebanon. Military action targets not only the Syrian regime, but also the Syrian people, Mansour said. He noted that skies in Lebanon are open but Beirut is against any military action against Arab .
