Lebanon Foreign Minister Gibran Bassil instucted Lebanon’s permanent mission at the United Nations in New York to file three expedited complaints against Israel, on the Israeli violations of Lebanese sovereignty and the complete defiance of UN resolution 1701 issued on 11/05/2014. According to the Lebanese National News Agency (NNA), the complaints document three separate Israeli breaches of Lebanon’s dominion, including one that occurred on 01/05/2014 near the southern village of Houla, whereby Israeli troops crossed the Blue Line. The second occurred on 09/05/2014 when Israeli forces attempted the abduction of three Lebanese citizens from the outskirts of the town of Shebaa. Source: QNA
