Libyan army forces found tunnels and trenches while combing Al Saberi area in Benghazi where Shura Council revolutionaries are being stationed, a military source said Monday.
Gunmen were using the tunnels to smuggle arms and ammunition, he added.
He added that forces are now combing Al Saberi axis, once held by militants, to fully secure the area.
The forces arrested a Burkina Faso national while fighting with extremist groups in the area.
