The Libyan interim government announced Wershfana area as a distressed area calling on all parties to cease fire.
In a statement on Friday, the government called on all parties to put violence aside and urged them to enter into a comprehensive dialogue to spare the country the devastation of war.
The government urged the general prosecutor to take the legal measures necessary against the participants in armed operations in Wershfana.
