Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab issued a decision Monday to isolate and evacuate a new area in Rafah city.

The decision includes providing alternative places for those who will be evacuated.

The buffer zone is one of several measures undertaken by the government to counter the insurgency in North Sinai.
