Troops of Fajr Libya militia on Friday took control of the coastal road in Sirte after Daesh militants retreated from the area.

Daesh militants left their positions amid powerful strikes with artillery and heavy weapons, head of the high security commission in Sirte Ismail Abdel Aal said.

Three members of Fajr Libya were killed and seven others injured in clashes with Daesh militants.
