Assistant Foreign Minister for Consular Affairs Amr Moawad on Friday said more Egyptians are still crossing the Ras Ajdir border crossing between Libya and Tunisia.
He said EgyptAir, the country's national carrier, has transported 4,122 Egyptians fleeing Libya over the past week.
Moawad said 21,407 Egyptians have returned home through the Salloum border crossing.
He urged Egyptians who still in violence-hit Libya to remain vigilant and stay in safe areas.
"Egyptians who want to return home should be in individuals not in groups for their safety," Moawad said.
