Up to thirty Daesh militants were killed in air raids by the Iraqi forces in central Tikrit, the capital of Saladin Province, said a security source in a statement.
The operation was carried out upon an intelligence information that militants are hiding in this area, the source added.
Meanwhile, the Iraqi forces broke the siege on 300 soldiers in eastern Ramadi, the capital of Al Anbar Governorate, according to the field operations command.
